Raceco and KWT Filters Win the 2022 Parker 250

The 2022 race season is off to a GREAT start for Team KWT and Raceco-USA lead by veteran racer Jamie Campbell.  In early January the Best in the Desert series kicked off in Parker, Arizona for the Parker 250.   KWT Filters had once again an amazing tech and contingency festival with so many supporters coming out to say hi, and many more joining our team by adding a filter to their UTV.  The following day the race began, and Raceco was off the line just after 12:45 P.M.  The team had two cars in the battle, one driven by Jamie Campbell in Eliott Watson’s car, and the second driven by Mikey Sandoval.  Unfortunately, Campbell made a critical error which took him out of the hunt midway through the race.  He stated, “After a misjudged turn that put myself and Trey Hernquist on our lid and then a mechanical at RM56 on the S801 Super Stock we had to call our day.”  It was left up to Sandoval to continue on for the team.

After a successful pitting which included a full refueling and parts check in under a minute, Sandoval continued into the sunset.  Just after 6:00 P.M. Sandoval crossed the checkers to find out he had taken the #1 Spot in the PRO N/A class!  This is a huge win for everyone involved as , there has long been chatter that the Honda Talon is a bit shy in the power and performance department.

The team at Raceco is continuing to prove them wrong, especially after winning the 2020 Baja 1000 with zero air filter changes.  One question that many people ask KWT is, “Does the Particle Separator affect the performance of the engine or strain the horsepower”. The answer is NO, and KWT Filters has many podium finishes to back these results.  With zero horsepower loss the KWT Particle Separator is a proven tool to keep your filters clean, and engine running smooth in even the dustiest racing conditions. We are absolutely race proven!
